The Christian Perspective

Only Christianity can provide a solution to the problem of sin.

We know that we aren't perfect. We know that we should do better. We know that there is a perfect moral law that governs us, and we don't live up to it (Romans 3:23).

Atheism denies all of these obvious facts.

Other worldviews recognize them, but tell us that we must do better -- that we must be perfect -- that we must fix the problem of sin.

Christianity alone tells us the obvious truth -- that we can't be perfect. We can't fix the problem of sin.

However, the God that created all of us can. (Mark 10:26-27)

In fact, He has.

Only Christianity tells us about the God who loves you so much that He took your penalty on His shoulders -- that He shed His own blood on the cross to pay the debt of our sin, provided we accept His free gift (Romans 6:23; John 3:16; Acts 20:28; Revelation 1:5; Romans 10:9).

Only Christianity fully recognizes the reality of sin, the inability of man to fix the problem, and the graciousness of a perfect God to offer to solve it for us.

Both Atheism and Christianity (religions) are belief systems, both are shortsighted, both miss the obvious while dwelling in their own definitions and ways of trying to contradict each other. You are not any more intelligent or wiser than a dummy who lives by the way of the bible.

I feel like atheism recognizes the problem of sin but since it has no answer for it, it does one of 3 things:
1. it just quietly sweeps it under the bed,
2. tries to glorify it as something great
3. Acts as if it is a fatality.

That is why christianity is so great.
