According to Christianity, do those of Jewish faith go to hell for not accepting that Jesus was the Son of God?

Yes.

Everyone has earned their place in hell, myself included (Romans 3:23, 6:23; Revelation 21:8). The only way that God has provided for us to get out of what we deserve is by trusting in the person and work of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9-10; John 6:29).

Everyone who denies Jesus their entire life is in turn denied by Jesus before His Father in heaven -- Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Atheist, Agnostic, etc (Matthew 10:33). Since no one comes to the Father but by Christ and since He is the Only Way to the Father (John 14:6; Acts 4:12), those who deny Christ their entire lives will not be with the Father (1 Corinthians 16:22).

However, God has commanded everyone everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30), and if the man who previously denied Christ repents, changes his ways, and embraces Christ, his former sins will be forgiven (Acts 10:43; Ezekiel 18:21) and he will be able to enter into the joy of his Master (Matthew 25:23, 25:34).

I hope that you also choose to enter in through faith in Christ.

So presumably those poor suckers who were unfortunate enough to die before Jesus came along, and therefore never even heard of him, are in hell too? Even though they never even had a chance at salvation for the entirely understandable reason that no-one at all had ever heard of Jesus until he deigned to get himself born? Seems a bit capricious to me, but hey, that's the Christian god for you.

He said "those who deny Christ their entire lives", not those who have never heard of him. And the bible says people can trust in him even if they haven't heard of him, like Abraham. Try not to make stuff up about beliefs you don't like. It just makes you look mean and nasty.

What Tim claims (i.e. that you can only be saved through Christ) is either true or it isn't. If it's true, then all the people who died prior to Christ coming to earth went to hell through no fault of their own. God sent them there without giving them any chance of redress. If Abraham was saved without Christ, then it's not true that you can only be saved through Christ. Which is it? Make up your mind please.

Wow. It's like you have no idea what the Bible says and you didn't read what Tim wrote either. First, Galatians 3... Abraham had faith in God, the trinitarian God of whom Christ is part, and in God's promises, including the promise of the coming savior through Abraham's lineage. In other words, Abraham had faith in Christ, though he didn't know his name or exactly what he would do. Second, the idea that anyone "went to hell through no fault of their own" is 100% opposed to what the Bible says and also what Tim said in his first sentence. Tim said "Everyone has earned their place in hell". So if you're going to criticize Christianity, at least actually criticize Christianity instead of some made-up religion that only exists in your head, some religion where everyone deserves heaven but no one can get there without special secret information that was unfairly hidden from them. That isn't Christianity, but it is the religion you're complaining about.

Rather there are increasingly multiple references in Quran which confirm otherwise fair principles of Justice for Faith in one God. Also, the Quran far from condemning Jews and Christians to hell encourages them to upgrade their belief through this new revelation carried by Angel Gabriel. Whenever the Quran curses its sinners it also praises people among the Jews and Christians for guarding Faith, as pointed out in Quran 3.113 to 115.

Let us also remember that God chooses whom He will save. We are the clay and He is the potter. He does with His creation what He chooses to do.
By creating us and giving each of us life here on earth, God has blessed each of us in many ways. If he gives some of us a great deal of money, that is another blessing. If He gives some of us great health, that is another blessing.
It is not our place to tell God that He doesn't know what He is doing. If God wishes to save all of the Jews, some of the Jews, or none of the Jews, that is His decision.

Hey guys, not sure when this post was made but I'm just gonna add another perspective to it anyway. What you need to realize with this is that Jesus died for everyone to be saved. While who died before Jesus did not get the chance to hear about him they were still aware that there would be a messiah to save them at some point(eg. Isiah 53), as long as they had faith that God would fulfill his promise to Abraham they would likely be saved. What you need to remember is that our God is a god of love and he would make the fair choice on people to be saved.

This is in response to comments by Tony. Prior to Christ first coming there was the law and Jews who followed the law and observed sacrifices were saved
BUT what is most important is that God goes by the heart. Tony is not a believer so it will be impossible to explain the concept of grace to a non believer. If he is meant to be saved God will reach out to him and if he rejects God that is his choice. God might be reaching out to him now otherwise why ask a question to those who trust and believe in Christ. Hopefully he will accept Christ before it is too late and these comments he will then understand
